After all is said and done, all I can say is...

YUM! Our Thanksgiving dinner was awesome. Here we are, just before we enjoyed our yummy food.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Today is Thanksgiving Day here in the good ole USA. I have much to be thankful for:

• My faith and relationship with God
• My Husband Christopher
• My heaven-born baby girl Eden Serenity
• My Family
• My Friends
• My health
• Our apartment
• Our Kitty Cats

I've gone ahead and cooked a 12 pound turkey just for the two of us, complete with mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, cranberries, broccoli salad and million-dollar pie for dessert. We're definitely going to be eating turkey for leftovers for a LONG time! Wish all of you could be here to join us and help us celebrate what we're thankful for. We miss all of our family and friends and can't wait to be home for the Christmas holiays.

The countdown is on...

Until Christmas holidays that is. Christopher and I are really looking forward to heading home to Manitoba for the holidays. Chris will be done his final exams on December 12th and Lord willing the weather will be good and we'll head home right afterwards. Chris' brother Gary and his wife Honey and nephew Ganon will be celebrating the holidays with us this year! It will be so wonderful to spend Christmas with them. Here's our picture from last year.

Remembering our daughter Eden Serenity

Some lives are forever changed by others. Eden Serenity Notley touched our lives in the most profound way. She was born silently but will never be forgotten. God gave us our precious gift and He also chose to take her home to Heaven before she could live outside the womb. On September 12, 2006 her little heart stopped beating and she made her change of address from earth to Heaven. Eden was with us for 35 weeks and 3 days before we got to meet her face to face. She was born at 5:38pm on September 16, 2006 and weighed 4 pounds 13.3 ounces and measured 17.5 inches long. Some people only dream of angels... we got to meet ours face to face and hold her in our arms.
