Sewing Sewing Sewing... will it ever end?

I've been sewing a lot of things to be prepared for Liam's arrival. We've decided to exclusively cloth diaper, so I've been feverishly working on those. They're pretty cute... too bad all that work goes into making them when you think about what they'll be used for! lol

I've also made numerous sets of burp cloths and receiving blankets. Here's a picture of my favorite set. I just love this flannel print!

Yesterday I made Liam the cutest little pair of slippers to keep his little toes nice and toasty!

I also made a bunch of wash cloths. They're so cushy and soft and cute - at least I think so! I love stars so I guess that's why I picked out this fabric.

I cut out a Christening outfit for Liam too so I'll have to get busy and get that finished as well. I'm thinking that perhaps I'll bring that home with me to Manitoba and sew it sometime next week while I'm home for doctor's appointments and my uncle's wedding.

I can't wait for this little guy to get here. So in the meantime I guess I'll spend my free time sewing in preparation!

2 more months!

Wow, time sure is flying and I can't wait to meet our little man. Liam is growing and so am I! Here's my latest belly picture from today at 31 weeks.

We had an ultrasound done 2 weeks ago at Argosy University here in Minnesota. Its a teaching hospital and we volunteered (I should say I volunteered us all - myself, Christopher & Liam) to have an ultrasound performed in front of a class of students who were learning how to perform ultrasounds. It was a really cool experience. They said our baby has a "Beautiful cranium! Textbook quality. The nicest they've seen in a long time!" We've got ourselves a little braniac just like his daddy! lol They gave us a bunch of ultrasound pictures to take home and they confirmed that he is head down already. He proudly displayed all his boy parts for everyone to see and showed off his head of hair. His little head was very fuzzy. I just may have to bring along our clippers and scissors to give this little guy a haircut on his birthday! He was measuring on target and weighed approximately 2 pounds 5 ounces, give or take 5 ounces - roughly 1100 grams.
Here is a picture of his handsome little profile. We think he has mommy's nose and chin!

And here he is showing off that he is in fact all boy! His daddy is quite proud.
