Here I am... 25 weeks

Wow, what a big baby belly I've managed to grow! lol I was this big with Eden at 35 weeks. I wonder how much bigger I will be this time with Liam? I'm still doing great though with my weight gain. So far I'm up 6.5 pounds which isn't too bad for 25 weeks. I gained a total of 9 with Eden so I'm hoping its not much more with Liam.

Much needed update

Hey everyone! Life is good. We were home in April for a couple weeks while Christopher had his break between semesters. While we were home, we got the results from our amniocentesis... We're very blessed to say that Liam is a perfect little man! He has 23 pairs of chromosomes - nothing added, nothing deleted - he's just as he should be and he's definitely a little boy!


Christopher and I got to see him at our ultrasound on April 30th. He's definitely living up to the meaning of his name. Liam means strong willed protector. He had the strong willed part down perfectly! He refused to cooperate and help the tech get all the measurements and views that she needed. Regardless, eventually they got what they needed and he's growing and very active.


Here's his latest profile picture. We likely won't get another ultrasound of him at home, so we might splurge and get a 3D/4D one down here in Minneapolis - a friend sent me a link to a school that does them for free, so hopefully that's an option for us!


As of today, I'm 24 weeks pregnant, only 16 weeks to go - give or take. I have yet to take a picture of this baby belly of mine. Hopefully I'll get one done this week or soon! I can't wait to meet our little boy!
